Weardale Renewable Energy is seeking a committed and detailed-orientated volunteer Treasurer to join our passionate team. This isa fantastic opportunity to support a community-led renewable energy initiative making a real difference in Weardale.
As Treasurer, you`ll help oversee the financial health of our organisation, ensuring transparency, compliance and sustainability. you`ll work closely with the board and project lead, contributing to strategic decisions and helping us manage funding, budgets and reporting.
Experience in finance, accounting or bookkeeping.
Strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and remotely.
Passion for community energy and sustainability.
Familiar with CIC or charity finance is a plus
ASAP - The role can be done remotely, which would require access to IT equipment.
