Natural High is looking for volunteers who have experience in music, dance and drama. This can be 3 different people or one person with a background in performing arts.
Music: to be able to teach new songs to young people and to know where to source material. To be aware of copyright
Dance: to have the ability to work with all ages and even those with two left feet. To be able to choreograph dances and work with young people who may have ideas too, and encourage them
Drama: to have a background in drama and to be able to produce simple shows.
We are also looking for someone who will keep accurate accounting books, to bank the weekly subs money and produce simple annual accounts at the end of the financial year

Training and support offered on leadership, safeguarding. All volunteers are DBS checked
Natural High is a music dance and drama group based in Crook, and we offer performing arts to young people from the ages of 8 – young adults. In the twenty years we have been in existence we have met some lovely children / young people from all backgrounds, and we find that friendships are formed, young people supported if going through difficult times. Within Natural High every child matters, so in every show we do every child will have a part. We encourage our children to bring ideas and suggestions for shows.
We offer youth leadership training from 17 upwards – so volunteering is a good opportunity for anyone going into the Arts at college or University and to gain experience in leading sessions, putting on shows etc.
Anyone with a passion for musical theatre is welcome.
Commitment is important. We meet Friday evenings 6 – 8pm term times
