Move Mates is a walking buddy project. We pair people who struggle to get out on their own, with one of our wonderful volunteers, for a regular walk.
Move Mates is for adults of all ages and can help people with short-term goals such as building confidence to get to new places, or with longer-term support to improve physical, mental, and emotional health outcomes.

Responsibilities

We need volunteers to help us raise funds to support our important work. You can complete challenges, arrange coffee mornings - anything you'd like to do to fundraise for this charity.

Skills & Qualities

You need compassion, good communication and be empathetic to people from all walks of life.
Good communication and organisational skills.

When & Where?

Very flexible - regular small fundraisers or one-off big fundraisers.

Training and Support Offered/Expenses

Our online module: "Move the Masses Volunteer Essentials" which you will be directed to once you sign up at www.movemates.org.uk
