Educational Support of Refugee Children and Young Adults

Durham City

We are looking for retired schoolteachers to help with the educational support of refugee children and young adults (ages 12-18). We run weekly in-person sessions in Durham on Saturday afternoons. If you have any past teaching or tutoring experience we'd love to hear from you. So far educational support has been really successful, making a massive difference to students!

Please get in contact for details. Obviously, there are child safety requirements - if you already have a DBS check that's helpful, but if not one can easily be arranged.

Thank you so much,
Durham City of Sanctuary
