            'The  Community  Peer  Mentors  are  part  of  the  Durham  Police  Crime  and  Victims  Commissioners  Office;  for  the  last  5  years  we  have  been  extremely  successful  in  supporting  vulnerable  and  isolated  people  who  through  unfulfilled  needs  become  high  impact  users  on  the  police  and  other  emergency  and  statutory  services,  including  GPs  and  councils  across  the  whole  of  County  Durham  and  Darlington.  We  are  now  taking  referrals  for  those  who  are  suffering  from  anxiety  or  affected  by  the  social  isolation,  it  will  only  be  telephone  contact  from  our  area  coordinators  and  volunteers;  however,  at  the  present  time  it  could  make  all  the  difference.\n\nHow  WE  can  help  you  and  how?\nIf  you  feel  someone  may  need  support  owing  to  social  isolation  or  anxiety  owing  to  the\nongoing  situation  all  it  takes  is  an  email  to  the  Community  Peer\nMentors  Community.PeerMentors@durham.pnn.police.uk  or  to  Jim  Cunningham\nat  James.Cunningham@durham.pcc.pnn.gov.uk.\nWhen  making  a  referral  please  use  “Community  support  referral”  in  the  email  subject\nheading.  We  will  need  their  name,  age  and  address  plus  a  contact  number,  and  a  brief\ndescription  of  what  the  issues  are  and  how  we  may  be  able  to  help.  We  will  accept  a  verbal\nconfirmation  that  a  person  wishes  to  engage;  their  details  will  be  held  within  a  secure\nsystems;  everything  we  do  is  GDPR  compliant  and  the  safety  of  vulnerable  people  and  their\ndata  is  paramount.\n',
