Want a volunteer role that’s quick, flexible, and can be done at home?
If you use WhatsApp already, are aged 16 or over, and have up to 30 minutes spare a month, then RNIB needs your help.
The role is simple. A WhatsApp message will be sent to you once a month. You then share it with people you know. We want the messages to reach people with different levels of vision, from different age groups and communities.
So, if you want to help people or want to give something back to charity without it costing you anything, then this is the role for you.
People who are living with one or more eye conditions are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of using WhatsApp.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Able to commit 30 minutes a month.
Home based at a time that suits you.
Social media policy information to be read.
Volunteer induction available, but not mandatory.
Gain knowledge of RNIB services and various eye conditions.
A chance to work with a national sight loss charity.
A chance to meet new people.
Fits in with most people's time.
