Volunteer Session Lead

Headway Darlington and District supports people with an acquired brain injury who live in Darlington and South Durham. We are looking for volunteers who will lead activity session once a month including a discussion group, assisting with a monthly trip out in the minibus, arts and crafts or a monthly walking group

Responsibilities

Volunteers will help plan the session with our worker, lead the group and encourage members of Headway to join in.

Skills & Qualities

You need patience, compassion and a genuine interest in people

When & Where?

Monthly sessions in our Hub in Darlington or out and about in the countryside in South Durham or the surrounding areas.

Training and Support Offered/Expenses

All volunteers will be offered basic first aid, health and safety and safeguarding training. Travel expenses will also be paid.
