Volunteer Mini Bus Driver

Durham City

To drive the centre's mini bus to take service users - Waddy members - to activities planned by the centre. These could be to leisure activities including badminton and football sessions or escorting the walking group to, day outings to local places of interest to, trips to the theatre.


Driving the centre's 15 seat mini bus
Supporting Waddy members alongside another staff member or volunteers support worker

Skills & Qualities

Driving a mini bus
MIDAS certification would be desirable
Having a D1 driving licence category

Training and Support Offered/Expenses

MIDAS certification desirable
Travel expenses paid for public transport to and from the centre or mileage costs paid at 40p per mile.
