We have a wonderful and diverse group of young people who thrive on learning through experiences. Having volunteers at our centre would be wonderful for the learners to be able to develop their skills further.
You will be working with young people who have a diverse range of abilities and often multiple learning disabilities. Learners engage in a selection of activities designed to develop skills in a series of different areas. We believe in promoting choice, communication and independence to every learner is essential, so we do this throughout each day. We also strive to participate in as many enriching opportunities as possible - these include outdoor education, residential trips, various field trips and days out in the community.
