Volunteer Article Writer

The purpose of this role is to write interesting articles on a monthly basis, for our monthly newsletter.

Responsibilities

To write articles in a suitable way for people with sight loss and to make them interesting.
Keep to a certain number of pages at the given font size using the given template, or no more than 2 sides of A4 of handwritten text.
To keep to the given deadlines as stated on the Recording Schedule.

Skills & Qualities

An enjoyment of engaging with people.
A positive attitude, team player, and willing to assist people.
A good standard of communication and timekeeping.
Can understand and follow guidelines and work to deadlines.
Be flexible in your approach.

When & Where?

Ad hoc/variable
You will be contacted prior to each event to see if you are available and you can elect whether or not you wish to volunteer in each instance.
