The purpose of this role is to assist our staff with administrative tasks
Tasks will include assisting staff with basic form filling and photocopying, keeping online records up to date. Other duties may be added as the role develops but these will all be admin based.
Candidates for this role should be confident with I.T and have a good standard of English and writing skills. They should be able to work on their own at times although not alone in the building, staff will be involved in interviews and meetings.
Candidates should be aware that they may be dealing with clients personal information and there is a strict requirement that information remains confidential.
At the Ferryhill Ladder Centre and possibly on outreach at a location in Chilton.
Training will be given to help you to understand and complete the paperwork and how to record the information online. You will be inducted to the center and shown how to use any equipment as necessary.
There will be ongoing support from center staff and the part time volunteer coordinator will monitor your progress and assist with your role.
You will be offered the opportunity to work on online course that may be appropriate to your role and staff can assist you with completion of your course.
Once part of the Ladder Center team you will be included and invited to center events and activities where relevant. Dinner is provided and expenses are available for travel although it is preferable that you are reasonably local.
Position is for 3-4 hours once a week, the day can be arranged but some flexibility is available
