Supporting adults with Learning Disability

Responsibilities

Supporting Life Skills Coaches and their delivery of a range of different activities such as community outings, drama, art, music, gardening , Kitchen support, swimming, health and wellbeing and sport and exercise.

Skills & Qualities

We are looking for someone with a hidden talent to share and a couple of hours to spare. We particularly welcome applicants with a passion for health and exercise, creative and performing arts, gardening, cooking, metal/woodwork, DIY and crafting

When & Where?

To start as soon as possible with DBS clearance. Coundon, Bishop Auckland

Training and Support Offered/Expenses

Training in Learning disability awareness, Introduction to active support, health and safety, equality and diversity and GDPR and data protection. Volunteers to be supported at all times. We offer expenses toward travel, lunch and refreshments.
