To lead and support fundraising activities, identify grant opportunities and secure additional funding to help provide equipment, activities and experiences for young people within the group.
You’ll work closely with the Group Lead Volunteer and fellow trustees to identify fundraising opportunities, develop ideas and help secure funding to support the group’s activities, equipment and future development. This could include organising fundraising initiatives, applying for grants and building relationships with local businesses and the wider community.
This is a flexible, behind-the-scenes role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys bringing people and ideas together and wants to make a meaningful difference to young people in the local community. Full support will be provided, and you’ll never be expected to do it alone.
Ideal skills: Organised, creative, enthusiastic and happy to get involved. An interest in fundraising, organising events or finding grant opportunities would be great, but no previous experience is needed.
