We are looking for volunteers to help support the management and development of the charity and have vacancies for Trustee positions on our Management Board

Responsibilities

Our Trustees provide advice and guidance to the delivery team which comprises one full time Project Manager, one part time Project Officer and one part time Financial Officer. They offer general support, connections to a range of sectors, help direct the future of the project and are involved in strategic decisions and issues surrounding governance.

Skills & Qualities

We are looking for professional knowledge, experience and skills in at least one of the following areas: Accountancy, HR, PR & Marketing, Fundraising, Bsuiness2Business, Zero-Carbon/environment, 2-wheeled powered transport or IT backgrounds.

If you would like to support us and be part of a great transport initiative please get in touch. Expressions of interest should be supplied with a CV and covering letter detailing employment history, vocational experience, hobbies and interests and other voluntary work that you have done/are doing.

Applicants will be invited to an informal meeting for a friendly chat with some of the existing Trustees. The W2W CIO currently meets approximately once every 2 months at Bullion Hall Community Centre, South Approach, in Chester-le-Street, DH2 2DW. Trustee positions are entirely voluntary.
