To give customers great customer service and operate the Till.
• Chatting to Customers - giving great customer service on the till.
• Operating the Till
• Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy
• Accepting donations from members of the public
• Assisting with stocking the shop floor
• Full Training and support are given for this role – no prior experience necessary.
No specific skills are required as full training is given. If you are a people person then this role would be ideal for you.
Our normal ask is a four hour shift 9am - 1pm or 1pm to 5pm we are very flexible and if you can only do 10 - 2pm or even just a couple of hours that is fine with us. Come and join our Social Sundays when it is a more relaxed atmosphere and have some fun.
Our Oxfam shop is at 1 Horsemarket, Barnard Castle DL12 8LY
All training is online and is video based so is quick and easy to complete.
We pay travel expenses withing reason. And if volunteering on the same shift for 5 hours or more we pay lunch expenses up to £7.00
