Would you like to support the YMCA in highlighting all the fantastic work that is taking place all across Teesdale?
We are looking for a volunteer to support with highlighting all the different activities we have going on in Teesdale to help increase engagement and grow our social media platforms. From creating a post about a recent event, to creating a Tiktok in our community cafe, the role will allow the volunteer to utilise a variety of different platforms and skills to reach a wider audience within its community.
Tasks Will Include:
Creating social media posts for our different platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok. Including the writing of captions.
Scheduling social media posts to post at a specific time through the use of Hootsuite.
Creating short videos that can be used to increase engagement with the community.
An interest in Social Media and Marketing.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Passionate about promoting the work of the YMCA.
This role can be completed either from the volunteers home or they can utilise the YMCA Teesdale Community Cafe located at Lipscomb Hall, Cockfield, Bishop Auckland, DL13 5DL.
All volunteers will complete a full induction training with our volunteer coordinator, covering volunteering safely, safeguarding, health and safety, and manual handling. Following this, volunteers will be provided with role specific training to support the individual with their volunteering role, this will include the likes of learning YMCA E&W branding guidelines.
