The Rock Up is a twice-weekly drop-in for young people aged 11-18. It is a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can relax, make friends, keep warm and receive homework help and tutoring.
Volunteers will be integral to the smooth running of the session and the support given.
Rock Up Volunteers will be part of a team that is keen to help individuals make progress with their homework whilst enjoying a friendly and supportive environment. The gift of time will be integral to helping individuals build confidence in their abilities and helping them to take steps to achieving their potential.

The sessions run on Thursday and Friday afternoons, 2:30pm-4:30pm so we anticipate a volunteer shift to be 2.15 to 4.45.
The Auckland Project is unable to reimburse travel expenses.

volunteers with The Auckland Project (TAP ) have access during opening times to the Visitor attractions, Auckland Castle, Spanish gallery, Mining Art Gallery in order to understand these visitor attractions and act as an ambassador for TAP as part of being a volunteer.
