The role is to support Climate Action Durham, a fast growing Community Interest Company, affiliated to Friends of the Earth, to develop and maintain an attractive up to date website.
It is currently operational but our website expertise is very limited so we need help. It is an opportunity for the right volunteer to be involved in remote working and learn more about what we do.
We welcome all newcomers whatever level of commitment they can give. Please be in touch if you think you have any skills to offer, specifically or more broadly, regarding our online presence.

Climate Action Durham meets on the first Monday of the month at Claypath Delicatessen in Durham.
A potential volunteer is very welcome to come & meet us there.
Access to a computer.
Covering transport costs as stated above.
Full support from a friendly team member.
Additional support from Friends of the Earth.
If you are concerned about nature loss & climate change this is a great opportunity to get involved & feel you are doing something positive to help. We are a very friendly, mixed age group of motivated individuals with a track record of a wide variety of activities, visible on our social media.
Climate Action Durham could help with transport costs if volunteer is outside Durham.
