As a valued member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the magic of serving these culinary delights, whether it's within the charmingly refurbished medieval kitchen or the serene courtyard garden. Responsibilities

Spreading good vibes with top-notch customer service:
• Handing out our delicious food and drinks with a big, friendly grin.
• Tidying up tables so they're always clean and ready for the next guest.
• Keeping the pot wash area in shipshape (no need to stress about prior knowledge – we'll show you the ropes).
• Being a cleaning whiz while following the COSHH guidelines when dealing with those fancy cleaning chemicals.





Skills & Qualities

No prior experience or qualifications needed for this incredible chance to develop new skills. We're on the lookout for individuals who:

• Are 18 years or older
• Exude a friendly, approachable, and helpful attitude
• Take initiative with a positive outlook, showing interest in delivering an outstanding visitor experience
• Prioritise Health & Safety, and are open to completing an online Food Hygiene training module
• Maintain a tidy appearance and take pride in personal hygiene – because first impressions matter, and your presentation reflects not just you, but also The Auckland Project.
If you're:
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a team
• Capable of carrying out tasks both independently and under supervision
We're thrilled to welcome individuals possessing some or all of these qualities to join our team.

Other Information

Volunteers are issued with an annual pass to our visitor attractions within Bishop Auckland. Regrettably we can not reimburse travel expenses at this time.
