Durham City

To help build our new garden. There will be a different roles we will require some people to lead gardening projects and others to do general tidying tasks. There will be opportunities for all levels of ability and commitment.

Responsibilities

General gardening tasks such as weeding planting and propagating.
There will also be an opportunity to get involved with building raised beds and get involved with hard landscaping if that is what interests you.

Skills & Qualities

Enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Ability to communicate at a basic level in English.
Although no gardening skills are required we also welcome those who can share their knowledge with others.

When & Where?

Merryoaks Community Hall
Park House Road
Durham
DH1 3QF
Wednesday afternoons 1 to 4
and Saturday Mornings 9 to 12
It is not necessary to come to both days.

Training and Support Offered/Expenses

Training will be given by other volunteer gardeners.
