As a charity obtaining funding and raise awareness is incredibly important to allow us to continue to be sustainable and be able to offer and extend our services to the community.
You will be assisting the Project Officer in organising events, community engagement, fundraising initiatives, awareness and promotion of the charity, supporting various fundraising activities.
Connecting with the public to promote the charity and encourage donations. This can involve attending community events,
Communicating with potential and existing donors to explain the charity's work. This may include building relationships with individuals, businesses, and groups.

Working with the Project Officer to develop fundraising initiatives within the community. Connecting with the public and/or local businesses to explain the charity's work and purpose. Support fundraising activities, this could be the setting up/manning of stalls at events, helping with the distribution of leaflets and adverts in the area.
We welcome new ideas for fundraising, creating events, and initiative to try something new.

Manning a stall at a fundraising event.

Within County Durham area, roles will be discussed in due course. Dependent on where an event is taking place. Some parts of the role may also be remote, online
