At Feeding Families, we don’t think anyone should go hungry. We looking for passionate people to help us offer support, hope and security to those experiencing food poverty as a Fundraising Volunteer.
-Organising your own fundraising events with support from the Community Engagement Manager
-Helping out at events such as bucket collections or food collections
-Talking to members of the public about the work we do and getting people to join in with our activities
-Using your own networks to spread word about Feeding Families
-An interest in helping others in need
-Good communication skills and confidence with speaking to people
-Having good initiative and organisational skills
-Any previous fundraising experience is beneficial
-If organising your own events this can be totally of your choosing
-As and when centrally organised events come up
As one of our volunteers, you will be included in wider volunteer training, celebration and gratitude events.
-Learn more about food poverty and the work of Feeding Families
-Gain confidence in speaking to people and helping run events
-Helping to raise income for those suffering Food Poverty all across the North East
-Be part of a wonderful team of staff and volunteers
-Friendship and socialisation
-Individual Volunteers are preferred to be 18 or over, however any children or young people that wish to fundraise with their families with can help us too
