We are looking for Volunteer Photographers to take a wide range of photos of RSPCA participants taking part in the Great North Run in September.
We are the RSPCA and it's our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion. Our volunteers are incredible, they play an essential role in helping us carry out our important animal welfare work every day.
Our volunteer photographers are a vital part of every event, ensuring we capture every moment to share with our current and future fundraisers. We are looking for a Volunteer Photographer to take a wide range photos of RSPCA participants taking part in challenge events, such as: running, cycling, trekking and swimming, and our Team Animal cheerers.
Main activities:
To produce images that are inspiring and make people feel excited and want to take part as a participant for the RSPCA in the next running event
To produce images that capture the atmosphere of the cheering stations and encourage viewers to volunteer in future events.
To produce a portfolio of images that we can use for promotion of the charity on a variety of platforms.
To enable us to share the images taken with our participants as a snapshot of their incredible achievement.
The skills you need:
You should be a keen photographer (amateur or professional) with your own equipment
You should be keen to support our charity and prepared to share the images you take with us to use for current and future promotions
Please note many of our events do not have animals in attendance - Event Photographers will be taking photographs of people taking part in challenge events
The start line is located on the A167 near Claremont Road (Postcode: NE2 4AA). The race finishes at the seafront in South Shields (Postcode: NE33 2LA).
