To support the Durham & Chester-le-Street School Sport Partnership with the delivery of their flagship event. The Durham Dash has been running since 2012 and has now return to the City Centre. The event involves children from primary schools across Durham & Chester-le-Street participating The DASH! is an inspirational athletics event for primary school children
The annual event promotes sport and physical activity as a positive lifestyle choice for children and their families, and is recognised as one of the best young people’s sporting events in the North East of England.
Supporting the team will marshalling of the event and potentially assisting with the field event activities
No prior skills needed just confidence to support and assist the event
Durham City Centre (market place and palace green)
None, advised of role prior to event and then will lease with Volunteer Co-ordinator
Gain experience of working with the general public and primary aged children, get to be part of the Durham DASH and gain from being involved with a big event.
Please note you will be required to be available on the 15th June 4pm until approx 8pm
