Want to Make a Real Difference in Your Community?
The impact of volunteer fundraising groups can be huge, for us as a charity as well as you. It can give you the opportunity to use your skills and self-motivation to make friends, socialise and build transferable skills all whilst raising much-needed money for Deafblind UK.
Join us at Deafblind UK and be part of something meaningful! We’re on the lookout for friendly, outgoing people who love connecting with others and want to help raise awareness and funds for people living with both sight and hearing loss.
What’s In It for You?
Flexibility – volunteer when it suits you, whether it’s a one-off event or something more regular.
Fun & Variety – run a pub quiz, host a stall, collect donations, or spread the word with posters—there’s something for everyone.
Boost Your Skills – gain experience in events, fundraising, and community engagement.
Feel-Good Factor – know that your time and energy are helping people who often feel isolated and overlooked.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hybrid volunteer role, giving you the chance to get involved both in your local community and online. You’ll bring your energy, creativity, and people skills to support our Community Fundraising Team—whether you’re planning your own mini‑event or lending a hand at one of ours. No experience? No problem! We’ll provide full training, ongoing online support from Deafblind UK, and all the resources you need—including a fundraising pack full of ideas and materials. You’ll also have a named contact to meet online and guide you every step of the way.
