Care Connect is a 24-hour, 7 day a week, 365 day a year alarm service that provides monitoring and response residents of County Durham if they need help at home.

Care Connect has 10 new volunteer roles available to work with us to make our service better!

We want to create a great panel of local people who can work together to share ideas and help improve the Care Connect service.

We believe YOUR input will help shape our service and give direct customer feedback that is crucial for us to continue providing a first-class monitoring and response at the press of a button.

Responsibilities

What the role entails:
• Attend quarterly group meetings to help us improve our service.
• Meet with Care Connect staff to get to know each other.
• Feedback and brainstorming sessions.
• Your influence to help shape the Care Connect service.
• Meet up with other volunteers to share ideas and have meaningful discussions.

Skills & Qualities

To be a Voice of Care Connect you’ll need:
• To be over 18 years of age.
• To be a user of the service; or
• Know a friend, neighbour or family member who uses the service; or
• To be familiar with the service Care Connect provides.
• To live in County Durham.

Please note that this is not a paid role, and it is on a volunteering basis only.
