Our Community Cafe brings people together by providing a welcoming environment and a safe space for people to be. From a cuppa and a chat, to help with any personal issues people may face, staff are there to oversee the delivery of activities and provide its service to the community. Our Baby and Toddlers group offers a chance for members of the community to engage in a safe and supportive group through interactive play.
Tasks will include:
Supporting with the set up and close down of the session.
Welcome and liaise with the attendees.
Support with teas and coffees for the parents/carers.
Join in with the babies and toddlers playtime.
YMCA Teesdale volunteers are friendly and patient, they understand the needs of our community and the reasons for the Community Cafe delivering the services it provides. Reliability is key, volunteers should be able to maintain the commitment of the times and hours that they wish to support.

Mondays 13:00 - 15:00. Term time only.
All volunteers will complete a full induction training with our volunteer coordinator, covering volunteering safely, safeguarding, health and safety, and manual handling. Following this, volunteers will be provided with role specific training to support the individual with their volunteering role.
