An administrator is required to help the DASH team with the general administration function of the charity, working with the Management Team mainly to provide support and also to assist office staff with computer based activities.
The role will involve constructing letters and other documents, preparing or modifying spreadsheets of information, making up files (hard copy and computer based) and other administration and general office management activities as required. This role can be fulfilled based in the DASH headquarters or remotely and therefore a flexible approach to work location and method of communications is required. The work will vary week to week both in terms of the type of activities and the amount of assistance required which will be between half and one day per week.
This role requires good computer skills including the ability to use word, excel, PowerPoint and the use of e mail and the internet. The volunteer will need to have good written communications skills and be able to communicate widely using a range of communications platforms.

This role can be carried out remotely but access to a computer and the internet is essential. Out of pocket expenses will be covered and training and support will be provided where required.
DASH provides accommodation and support to homeless people and people at risk of homelessness including a project specifically for women with multiple and complex needs. As a DASH volunteer you will be involved in helping the charity in its core work of providing accommodation and support to vulnerable individuals. The volunteering you do will help the organisation to be self-supporting and sustainable.
