The role is to meet visitors and show them around the gallery of which there are four areas, all next to each other. No knowledge of art is required as we look for nice people who like to meet other nice people in a beautiful setting. We have preview evenings before each exhibition with complimentary wine, juice and music for all and we encourage all to attend if they can.

The gallery is in the centre of Spennymoor High Street with free parking at the back of the Town Hall where the gallery is situated.
The Gallery is open seven days a week and there are opportunities over the full week to volunteer from as little as one hour up to as much time as you can give.
